The Phone InAvailable for 24 days
What should the future hold for the House of Lords? A proposed law to legalise assisted dying has stalled in the upper chamber. More than 1,200 amendments were tabled, which is believed to be a record high for a bill introduced by a backbencher. Several peers who support the bill have accused opponents of using delaying tactics. But critics have argued the bill lacks safeguards and the debates in the Lords have exposed further problems. We also want to hear about your experiences of Parkinson's disease. Dr James Bolt has become the first doctor in Wales to offer a medication called Produodopa. It simplifies treatment for patients with advanced Parkinson’s disease. Dr Bolt is a consultant specialising in movement disorders at Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, and he'll join us on the show. And what are your memories of the Chernobyl disaster? Sunday marks the 40th anniversary of the incident in the then Soviet-controlled Ukraine. One of the power plant's reactors suffered an explosion, sending a radioactive plume across Europe. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nation's conversation.
