Radio 1's Life Hacks

Available for 22 days

Day two of our Sunderland series is all about opportunities. When you leave school, college or university, not everyone has a clear plan - and that’s completely normal. You go from having everything mapped out to suddenly being in charge of your own path. Lauren & Shanequa share stories from our panel – people who tried different routes, changed direction and figured things out as they went along. In the second hour, we’re joined by panellist Elle Farrell, who’s tried a range of different jobs before finding what felt right for her, in Sunderland. She is now empowering others in the north east to learn at her training academy and take control for themselves. We’ll be talking about how you know something isn’t for you, how to build the confidence to change direction, and the pressure that can come with sticking something out when it doesn’t feel right. Produced in Salford by Audio Always for BBC Radio 1.
