In honour of Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday, Edith Bowman presents a special edition of Cinematic Soundtracks featuring the music from his landmark BBC programmes. From the music of Edward Williams from 1979's groundbreaking Life on Earth to Hans Zimmer's breathtaking scores to Frozen Planet II and Blue Planet II, Cinematic Soundtracks includes music that spans almost 50 years of David Attenborough's career - much of it recorded by the BBC's own orchestras. There's music from the BBC Concert Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and even the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, composed by the likes of George Fenton, Elizabeth Parker, and Jacob Shea. Produced by Tom Pooley. Assistant Producer Naava Abigail Busenze. A Granny Eats Wolf Production for BBC Radio 3 Unwind.
