Mariyah Zaman, is a young Welsh Muslim. The CEO and co-founder of Now in a Minute Media, an independent platform dedicated to amplifying the vibrant, diverse voices of Welsh Muslims. From celebrating local talent to breaking down barriers through workshops and spoken-word poetry, her work aims to reshape how we view Welsh identity and youth culture today. She also works for the Future Generation’s Commissioner’s office, specialising in communications.
