Tom begins his journey at the far end of Blakeney Point in North Norfolk to explore the area and its abundance of birdlife. He meets the wardens and rangers whose families have cared for this land for generations and brings the history of the area to life. From there, Tom boards a small boat to cross the estuary, ending up at Cley Marshes for live folk music from The Shackleton Trio and to hear another side to the coast – the fresh and saltwater marshes nestled just inland, where the air is filled with the calls of Avocets, Spoonbills, Marsh Harriers, Bearded Tits, Redshanks and Lapwings.
