Notting Hill Carnival celebrates 60 years. We explore the Indo-Caribbean stories, sounds and flavours that have helped shape it. Roland Noel from Inspiration Arts - a community arts organisation - continues the Carnival legacy begun by his parents, Lawrence and Joan. They founded the Trinbago Carnival Club and are credited with bringing some of the first costumes to the west London event. Nadia Valeri from Socaholic shares how her Indo-Caribbean heritage influences her work behind the scenes at Carnival, from building trucks to working with bands including One Mas and Hype Mas. Then, from west London to Ibiza, Amber Haque speaks to the South Asian artists and collectives changing electronic music, including Indo Warehouse and Ahadadream.
