Since its UK launch in 2014 Vinted has become a destination for shoppers keen on buying second-hand fashion. It has17 million users in the UK. The company claims that nine out of ten of them say that when they're tempted to buy something new, they check to see if it's on Vinted first. But as Vinted has grown and expanded beyond Europe to America and Australia, buyers and sellers have been complaining that it isn't as good as it used to be. From concerns around environmental impact of more parcels traversing the globe, the platform becoming harder to use, people being banned for selling items they brought on Vinted, we speak with one user who is so fed-up with the situation she’s started a campaign to get Vinted to change things back. We speak with one listener who paid for parking only to get £900 worth of charges a few weeks later. The Competition & Market Authority is currently investigating one private parking firm and has launched a package of action to improve the experience of UK motorists dealing with private parking operators. We speak with the RAC about their thoughts on the current state of private parking in the UK. And according to government figures around a million older people live in specialist housing - roughly three quarters in housing association sheltered homes and a quarter in private lease hold flats. However, there are growing concerns around the value of property declining, them being hard to sell, and the service charges attached to them. We speak with one lady who has been trying to sell for over 2 years. PRODUCER: HARRY BLIGH PRESENTER: WINIFRED ROBINSON
