Seonaid Aitken is joined by Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist and producer corto.alto, also known as Liam Shortall. His genre-defying sound blends contemporary jazz, electronic production, hip-hop, broken beat and bass-heavy dub influences, and he is celebrated as an exciting voice in contemporary UK jazz. He was nominated for Mercury Prize in 2024 for his debut album 'Bad With Names', and he has returned with a new album called 'Some Small Fortune'.
