The Phone In

Available for 26 days

Would you be happy to see a Welsh rugby side play a Six Nations game in the United States? World Rugby has said it would help any nation which wants to make the switch, as it continues its drive to spread the game stateside. With the men's and women's Rugby World Cups being held in the United States in 2031 and 2033 respectively, tournament organisers are keen to bring more prestige fixtures across the Atlantic. We’d also like to hear your recollections of the 9/11 terrorist attacks - what impact did they have on you? Memorial services are being held today to mark the 25th anniversary of the attacks in the USA. On September 11th 2001, almost 3,000 people were killed when hijackers crashed planes into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Virginia. Passengers forced a fourth hijacked plane to crash land in a field in Pennsylvania. And do you have memories of completing National Service? Age Cymru Dyfed is preserving the stories of former National Servicemen who served between 1947 and 1963. They have uncovered incredible stories of fighting in the trenches in Korea and conflict with terrorists in Cyprus. We’ll be speaking with Mervyn Rees, who served on Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110. Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nations' conversation.
