This week on Grant Stott’s Vinyl Collective, Clint Boon from the Inspiral Carpets, shares a favourite record from his collection. He’s a published author now too; ‘The Manchester Chronicles’ is an exhilarating and highly personal ‘folk-telling’ of the Manchester music scene, as seen through the eyes and ears (and hair) of one of the city’s favourite sons. Grant will have a special ‘Double' on Side 2 of the show, celebrating the work of Hue & Cry. He’ll also have another cracking Into The Groove 12”, a Magnificent 7", plus, a countdown of the top 10 albums this week in 1987.
