Bells on Sunday comes from St George’s Church, Poynton in Cheshire. With origins dating back to the early 14th century the present building was constructed in the mid-18th century. There are six bells, all cast in 1887 by Taylors of Loughborough. The tenor bell weighs thirteen and a half hundredweight and tuned to the note of F-sharp. We hear them ringing Kingston Treble Bob Minor.
