'Have I accidentally written a World Cup anthem?'

Available for over a year

Katherine Priddy's track 'Hurricane' has gone viral, being shared by England fans, adding in the name of the Three Lions' captain. The Worcestershire star of folk music, who has chart-topping albums, toured the world, played venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and festivals such as Glastonbury, has been supported by BBC Introducing since first uploading her music in August 2018. From her latest album 'These Frightening Machines', she tells Toni McDonald how it was her manager who first noticed the connection whilst recording the track. Its exploding popularity, she says, has caught her off-guard, entertaining the idea of re-recording the song to add the lyric 'Harry Kane... he's a hurricane' should England win the tournament!
