After being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in 2018, Ann Blake from Fordingbridge decided to help others. Her book, A Legacy of Love, has raised £11,000 for muscular dystrophy charities and Dog A.I.D. She is a finalist in the Fundraiser category at the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards 2026 and spoke to Rick Jackson.
