Make it easier for dads to take leave, say experts

Available for over a year

University of Lincoln researchers say the UK's parental leave system should make it easier for new fathers to take time off after the birth of a child, with only 2% of dads currently taking shared parental leave. The academics recently took their findings to Parliament, arguing that more dedicated leave for fathers could benefit families, improve gender equality and boost the wider economy. Professor Anna Tarrant has been speaking to BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Frances Finn.
