Discover how the city is home to a pioneering course, not currently taught in schools, at NMITE, on Blackfriars Street. The New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering welcomed pupils aged 14-18 for a day-long taster of robotics, which was packed, despite being in the middle of the summer holidays. Craig Sykes is ex-military and works in communications technology. He remarked how important the learning provided by the college can be. James Newby is the President and Chief Executive of NMITE, who says creating inanimate objects and programming them to make decisions helps to develop a large skillset.
