Can green spaces cool West Yorkshire's towns?
Available for over a year
We've already seen four heatwaves in the UK this summer, and for many, the heat has been uncomfortable, unpleasant and, at times, dangerous and life threatening. Are our cities and infrastructure prepared for rising temperatures as we deal with a climate crisis, and can trees and green spaces provide an option to cool our towns?
