Roger's remarkable road to Aintree

Anythingtoday, better known as Roger, enjoyed a successful life on the track, but when his racing days came to an end and he lost an eye, many might have assumed his competitive career was over. Not so. With the patience, dedication and belief of Northumberland owner Sue Haughie, Roger has been retrained for a completely different discipline and is heading to the Retraining of Racehorses National Championships at Aintree, competing in dressage and showjumping classes, proving that life after racing can be every bit as rewarding as life on the track. Michael Poulter travelled to Howick Hall to meet Roger and Sue to hear the remarkable story of how he adapted to losing an eye.
