17-year-old Leo Sproson inspired thousands to sign up to stem cell registers, following his own diagnosis and treatment of leukemia. The lad from Catshill has seen his cancer story shared around the world, being so open and brave about his journey. Leo and his mum Jenna reflect on the story so far and the impact one teenager can have by being selfless. Leo is a finalist in the BBC Hereford & Worcester Make A Difference Awards 2026, in the Young Hero category.
