Angela helps cats that need re-homing

Angela Etherington has been volunteering at the Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Re-homed charity for the past nine years. She helps cats that need re-homing due to domestic violence, eviction or bereavements. Angela is one of the finalists in the Animal category in BBC Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2026. We went along to meet Angela and Alfie a cat she cares for at the Holy Spirit Church in Southsea.
