Richard Armitage On The Darkest Role He’s Ever Played

Available for over a year

Richard Armitage has made a career out of playing some seriously dark characters and now Joe wants to know how much of that darkness is really him. The Hobbit star opens up about getting inside the minds of villains, the role that gave him nightmares, being waterboarded for real and the childhood experience that left him terrified of water. He also reveals why he values his privacy, shares what Sandra Bullock taught him about acting and gives Joe a crash course in becoming a dwarf (spoiler: it involves gonads). Then, Joe sacrifices himself in an attempt to unleash Richard’s true dark side.
