The Cultural Contradictions: How We Say One Thing, Do Another and Still Call It Progress

Available for over a year

Dr Simon Frederick has spent more than three decades observing people through portraits, film and visual storytelling. Now, Simon Frederick has turned that same observant eye to the contradictions that shape the way we live: the things we say we believe, the ways we behave, and the complicated spaces in between. His new book is called The Cultural Contradictions: How We Say One Thing, Do Another and Still Call It Progress. It explores belonging, homeland, culture, equality, identity and the very human reality that we can hold conflicting feelings at the same time.
