Ngunan Adamu in conversation with Sura

Available for over a year

Now, did you know that music doesn't just lift the soul? It can carry centuries of history, connect generations and tell stories that words alone simply can't. And few people understand that better than Gambian singer and kora player Sura Susso. Born into a family of griots, West Africa's traditional storytellers and musical historians, Sura has music running through his veins! Now he's teaming up with celebrated Malian guitarist Habib Koité for Manding Melody, a musical journey celebrating friendship, culture and the rich sounds of West Africa, coming to stages across the UK.
