The 2026 Formula 1 season continues in Spielberg with the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring this weekend, the eighth race of the campaign.

George Russell snatched pole position from Charles Leclerc on Saturday after Max Verstappen crashed late on in the final part of qualifying.

Leclerc will start second on the grid, with Ferrari team-mate Lewis Hamilton in third.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who leads Hamilton by 41 points in the drivers' standings, qualified in fourth.

Sunday's 71-lap grand prix starts at 14:00 BST.

Like most of Europe, Spielberg is set for sweltering temperatures at this weekend's grand prix.

For Sunday's race, which begins at 3pm local time, conditions are forecast to be sunny and very hot once again, with temperatures reaching highs of 34C.

There is also expected to be some light rain throughout the day.
