The NCA - it may be small, but it's perfect.
This little studio is named after the BBC's News & Current Affairs division, and it is here that the great and the good come to be interviewed "down the line", to another of the BBC's radio services somewhere else in the world - perhaps for Radio Four or Radio Five Live.
The equipment in here doesn't need to be too complicated... so it isn't - just a microphone and a mixer.
And often, quite often, you'll find a Radio Stoke reporter in here too, telling the wider world about a story he or she has been working here, in Staffordshire/South Cheshire.
A window out on to the world indeed!
| Who's who around BBC Radio Stoke... |
| | Yes... it's the Unknown Interviewee. It could be a footballer from one of the Stoke-on-Trent clubs, it could be a local MP, a local 'expert', it could even be you. The Unknown Interviewee has a story to tell, and you'll find him or her knocking about the corridors awaiting their broadcast moment...
...so don't stare at them. It's so uncool! |
|
Moving on swiftly... Now, we proceed back into the corridor, and then continue round, taking a right turn into the white-hot atmosphere of broadcasting ...
