Dancing with baby

Dancing with baby can be great fun and benefit your baby's development. Many babies love music and moving to a rhythm can help keep them engaged and entertained.

Holding your baby close while you dance can also support bonding by encouraging the release of oxytocin, sometimes known as the "love hormone".

Why not sing along too? Hearing songs, rhymes and repeated words helps babies become familiar with language and supports their early communication skills.

Your baby will love listening to a familiar voice as you sing and move together.
