I've never played Second Life. Sometimes I tried to play with a multiplayer but I don't enjoy. I think I'll try to play SL to see if I can improve my English as someone do.

There is this game called Runescape that is rather like World of Warcraft but with a few elements of Second Life thrown in.it mostly centres around combat and leveling up,but there are a host of other skills like farming or theiving to level up.you can only play humans but to is free-class,meaning that you chosee whether to imprive your magic,melee skills or ranging abilities.(although due to economic problems and biased combat systms most choose to be a warrior)you can also be a jack of all trades if you want,or practice some non-combating skills. www.runescape.com* There are many other things like random events and special attacks.check the manual at the above website to find out everything about RS. This is a MMORPG which can hold up to 2000 players per server. Try it,more than one million players can't be wrong.

Yes, I've played Second Life (SL) these days. It's actually a hobby to me, but I like joining SL rather to practice my English skills as writing, listening and reading than just to earn virtual money and wasting my time.

Hey guys, I have been using another 3d messenger which is similar to Second Life, it's called the IMVU messenger. It is totally user-friendly and I think it's a bit like the 3d version of msn. Like you can do group chats in one window or individual chats in many different windows with your friends. and the difference between msn n this IMVU messenger is that you have your atavars which most of my friends think look cute or cool. you can earn credits in many ways, you can even purchase credits or become designers to earn real cash. So at the beginning you only have a few avatars to choose from, but later on, you can use your credits to purchase brandnames, daily necessities, rooms, new avatars, you can even purchase makeups, eyes, nose, nail arts, etc seperately. I think what makes IMVU not able to become popular and takeover msn is that you can type in other languages in the bubbles, but the website and all the buttons, all the functions are in English, so a lot of people who don't really know English well will give up playing it easily. Eventually, there are like 300 people in my list but only 10 of them are online. Anyway, I must say it's kinda fun, and addictive. Because it's so real, like you have voice if you purchase voice box, and you have tonns of body gestures, winks, and more. You can go camping, travelling with friends and so on. You can get married with somebody. If you get an access pass, you can do a lot of interaction and perhaps naughty stuff with other members. But I decided that I have more important things to do, so I start to go online less often. Um, If you think you can manage well yourself, then I will also recommend this new software to you.

Hi there! I play second life every days, I think it can be useful from the moment that I use it to improve my english by talking over my microphone with other english or american people. I have also a very nice girlfriend which is american and we get along very well, it makes me happy when I come back from the work. I think second life is a good way to change your mind for the "not always good" real life .
