Matthew Hall
Matthew Hall is the creator and screenwriter of hit BBC Wales and S4C drama Keeping Faith which was made in both the English and Welsh languages and broke records for requests on BBC iPlayer.
Matthew is also a crime novelist with his first novel The Coroner shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Golden Dagger.
He explains how he began his career as a lawyer and got his first break into screenwriting through Kavanagh QC starring John Thaw.
He also offers some great advice to other budding screenwriters about deciding what kind of writer you want to be and ensuring that you can earn a living.
