On Friday 26th June, lawyer Denise Nurse joined Morning Live to discuss the issue of people sitting in your reserved train seats.

As part of this, Denise mentioned the possibility of compensation for any train delays – notably through Delay Repay.

Delay Repay is a nationwide scheme that makes it easier for you to get compensation for delayed train journeys. If you are delayed for any reason when you travel on a participating National Rail service, you can claim Delay Repay.

You can check whether your service is part of the scheme, and find out how to apply for compensation, by clicking on the link here, external.
