Shaping the BBC's future everywhere
Throughout September and the beginning of October 2004, a series of Shape our Future sessions took place around the world. More than 400 BBC staff took part in 16 different locations.
Cairo was our first session; Singapore our last. New York was our biggest; Tokyo the smallest. Sydney was the furthest east; Miami the furthest west.
People made time in busy schedules to help the BBC shape its future as it gears up for a period of rapid social and technological change ahead.
And everywhere, our teams made it their priority to tackle some of the big global issues.
