Marcus Wareing Simply Provence

Marcus loves a British fruit-based pudding and is searching Provence for the local equivalent. After trying out a prawn cocktail served in a half-melon on local farmers, he changes tack and meets with a local chef for a France v Britain pudding cook-off.

He’s also looking for the tastiest local cheese to take to the village pétanque game. He discovers a Provençal favourite is goat's cheese, and so he visits a local producer who gives him a whirlwind apprenticeship in all things goat.
