    Cheltenham Town have brought in winger Jake Evans on a season-long loan from League One side Leicester City.

    Evans, 17, played 16 times in League One for Northampton Town last season.

    "I'm over the moon to be here," he told the club website. "I have had a taste of senior football, and I just want more. I can't wait to play for the Gaffer and the Robins fans."

    Manager Steve Cotterill added: "Jake has been one of my targets throughout the summer. There was a lot of interest in Jake from League Two and higher up the pyramid.

    "As well as being an exciting player, it is also worth remembering that he is a young man learning his trade in the men's game."

    Leicester City have signed Argentine goalkeeper Franco Ravizzoli from Blackpool on a three-year contract.

    The 29-year-old has moved on a free transfer and is boss Russell Martin's seventh signing of the summer so far.

    Ravizzoli has made 99 career appearances, also playing for clubs including Eastbourne Borough, MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers.

    He came through the youth academy at River Plate in his home country and also trained with Spanish club Valencia as a youngster.

    "I'm absolutely delighted to be here. As soon as I heard about the club's interest, I just knew I couldn't turn the opportunity down," Ravizzoli told Leicester's website.

    "Leicester is a big club with ambitions to be successful again, and I will give everything to help them on that journey."
