The Vice Dean of Chester Cathedral, Reverend Rosie Woodall shares the story of the patron saint of Chester, St Werburgh. This famous Anglo-Saxon Holy Woman shunned wealth and privilege and instead founded, and was Abbess over, several monastic houses and nunneries.
