Lopa Kothari presents the best in folk and roots-based music from around the world. This week she sets sail, taking in the traditional harmonies of Bahamian ensemble The Dicey Doh Singers, and a song for the sea from Mauritian “griot of the islands” Menwar. Also, Officina Zoè offer up a footstomping take on ancestral rhythms from Salento in southern Italy, and Argentinean musician Marco Grancelli shares the fruits of a South American road trip on his debut solo album.
