Dvořák's Symphony No 7 from the Baltic Sea Festival

Alex Humphreys presents an afternoon of exclusive music-making from the UK and beyond, with performances captured at two major European festivals. From the East Neuk Festival in Scotland, there’s Mozart’s Serenade alongside intimate piano music by Scarlatti, Poulenc and Couperin. From the Baltic Sea Festival, Dvořák’s sweeping Seventh Symphony brings drama and intensity, alongside the expressive vocal music of Marini and Caccini and the colourful chamber textures of Berwald’s Grand Septet.
