Reports and analysis of the day's political, economic and sports news from across Africa.
Kenya’s defence secretary Dr. Monica Juma speaks to the BBC’s Anne Soy about Kenya’s ongoing military presence in neighbouring Somalia. Plus, as vaccines are rolled out to help fight the spread of Covid-19, some doctors have been praising a drug which can supposedly alleviate the suffering of patients. We get the thoughts of Dr. John Nkengasong, Director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
