Supermarkets are "taking the mickey " out of shoppers over their olive oil prices. That’s according to Walter Zanre, the boss of olive oil producer Filippo Berio. He claims supermarkets are yet to bring down prices for customers, despite the cost of olive oil falling in recent months. The British Retail Consortium disagrees with Zanre, saying that retailers work hard to pass on cost savings to customers wherever possible. Yesterday the Welsh Liberal Democrats launched their manifesto. And one commitment was to work with Police and Crime Commissioners to halt the use of facial recognition surveillance by police forces in Wales. Facial Recognition is a technology capable of comparing a human face from a digital image against a database of faces.
