Erinma Bell: Turning Guns into a Symbol of Peace
After witnessing the devastating impact of gun violence in Manchester, Dr Erinma Bell MBE was determined to make a difference.
Together with her husband Raymond, she established CARISMA in 2003, working with young people, families and communities to tackle gun and gang crime, particularly in Moss Side.
Her commitment to peace and community safety earned her an MBE and an extraordinary tribute: a sculpture created from metal recycled from 50 guns.
Discover the story of a Manchester woman who helped turn the symbols of violence into a lasting message of hope.
