This morning will be mostly dry with variable cloud and the odd shower. During the afternoon and evening, more frequent showers will move into northern areas. A breezy day.

Tonight

Tonight, much of the north will stay cloudy with showers, while further south it will be drier, with isolated showers. During the second half of the night, the showers will gradually ease. Breezy.

Monday

Tomorrow will bring a mix of sunny spells and areas of cloud moving in from the west at times. In the morning, there will be a few lingering showers across far northern areas, mainly in Caithness.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

On Tuesday morning, it will be mostly cloudy and dry. During the afternoon, cloud will gradually break up to reveal longer spells of sunshine. Overnight, it will turn breezy, with some showers moving in from the west. Wednesday is expected to be generally cloudy, especially towards the west, with a risk of occasional showers. More widespread showers are possible on Thursday.
