Staying windy and unsettled overnight with further scattered heavy showers and longer spells of rain in places. One or two isolated lightning strikes can't be ruled out near the coasts.

Little change tomorrow with strong north-westerly winds bringing further spells of heavy rain, scattered showers and the odd rumble of thunder. One or two cloud breaks may also develop.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

A calm and settled day on Sunday with variable cloud and sunny spells, these more widespread in the afternoon. Turning cloudier on Monday with some very light rain in places. Winds will strengthen significantly overnight and on Tuesday with possible gales on the coasts. Heavy rain on Tuesday morning will clear in the afternoon to leave sunshine but still strong winds.
