Storm Boelo will bring a very windy and unsettled day with gale force winds. There will be scattered heavy showers, some locally thundery and with sunny spells in between.
Tonight
Showers and strong winds will continue for a time tonight but both will ease as the night progresses. Clear spells in between showers, but cloud will build widely by dawn.
Monday
Winds easing further tomorrow morning with mostly cloudy skies to start. As the day progresses, outbreaks of rain will sweep north-eastwards along with strong south-westerly winds.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
Staying very windy throughout Tuesday with scattered blustery showers, some of which thundery. These will turn lighter in the evening but will persist until Wednesday morning or even midday. Eventually, they will clear by the end of Wednesday which will otherwise see plenty of cloud and brief sunshine. Thick cloud and some fog on Thursday morning will clear to sunny spells.
