Today will be mostly dry with a mix of areas of thick cloud and occasional sunny intervals. The odd spot of rain cannot be ruled out. A slightly less warm day with moderate winds.

Tonight

Tonight will see early clear spells replaced by cloudy skies. Outbreaks of patchy rain are expected to develop from the south-west during the early hours.

Tuesday

Tomorrow will start generally cloudy with some patchy light rain lingering around. In the afternoon, heavy and locally thundery showers will develop, these merging into longer spells of rain at times.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Staying cooler than of late, with temperatures close to average. Wednesday will be rather cloudy with a few spots of light rain for a time, but it will turn windy with outbreaks of rain pushing eastwards through the evening. Breezy and mostly dry on Thursday with sunny spells and patchy cloud. Friday is set to see another area of widespread rain, this easing later in the day.
