This afternoon will be cloudy with heavy rain, clearing soon to the east and leaving it mostly dry with the odd shower at times.

Tonight

Becoming windier overnight with gales possible in places. A band of heavy rain and downpours will sweep eastwards clearing by dawn to leave isolated showers and clearer skies.

Tuesday

Remaining very windy tomorrow with scattered isolated showers, patchy cloud and occasional sunny spells. The odd rumble of thunder is not ruled out.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Turning less windy on Wednesday, but starting the day cloudy with spells of patchy rain. These will clear later on to sunny spells and some variable cloud. Dense mist and fog may linger on Thursday morning with some local drizzle. Becoming sunnier later in the day. Patches of fog may also persist on Friday morning but will disperse later to leave mostly sunny skies.
