How you helped

Donations to the BBC Wildlife Fund have helped to save a wonderful range of species throughout the world. Many are on the brink of extinction, many are highly threatened, all are in need of support to turn the tide.

Our wildlife faces ever increasing challenges and all those working to conserve the diversity of life on the planet are continuing to find innovative solutions, proving we can conserve our wildlife.

The BBC Wildlife Fund, with the help of experts and specialists, ensured donations were placed through effective grant-making where they could make a clear difference by tackling causal issues and addressing a clear plight.

All of the 86 projects supported by the Fund are listed here. We have broken this information to show the kinds of species preserved and where the projects took place here.

Further details on the individual projects may be available on the websites of the organisations to which the grants were made.

We have provided some detail on a small number of projects to provide case studies on the variety of projects which the Fund supported.
