Starting overcast this afternoon with heavy rain bringing some local downpours and squally gusts. Turning largely dry with sunny spells later on.

Tonight

Staying windy overnight with a mix of clear spells and patchy cloud. The cloud may bring one or two light showers during the early hours.

Saturday

Tomorrow will continue to see an exchange of sunny and cloudy intervals. A few isolated showers may also develop locally. It will be windy but winds will ease by the evening.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

Any early sunshine on Sunday morning will gradually become replaced by thick low cloud, stronger winds. Towards the end of the day, there will be a few spells of light rain. Overcast and damp to start Monday morning but turning drier with the odd late sunny break in the afternoon. Windy again on Tuesday with a band of rain clearing to sunshine by midday.
