Winds will progressively ease overnight but areas of variable low cloud will remain and could still produce the odd local shower. Clear spells will also develop in spots.

Sunday

Early sunny spells will become replaced by thick low cloud from the south-west by midday. Light rain in the afternoon will progressively turn persistent and heavier by the evening as winds pick up.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Overcast windy and damp to start Monday morning but turning drier with the odd late sunny break in the afternoon. Windy again on Tuesday with a band of heavy rain clearing to sunshine in the afternoon. Wednesday will be breezy but mostly dry with long sunny spells and areas of variable cloud. Temperatures will be in the mid-to-high teens.
