What is 'Children in Need' all about and where does the money go?

PudseyBBC Children in Need aims to improve the lives and prospects of children and young people living in the UK who have experienced hardships, difficulties or disadvantages of some kind.

Since 1980, the BBC Children in Need appeal has raised over £300 million for disadvantaged children living in the UK.

This year, Children in Need is being held on 21st November and everyone is welcome to join in.

We're hoping that this year will prove to be the biggest and best for Children in Need!
