Voting don end for many polling units across Ekiti State as sorting and counting of ballots don start for di govnorship election wey hold on Saturday, 20 June.

Polls open by 8:30am and e dey expected to close by 2:30pm.

Voting take place across all di 16 local govment areas, 177 wards and 2,445 polling units of di state.

14 candidates dey run for dis off-cycle govnorship race including di incumbent, Biodun Oyebanji, wey dey seek second term in office on di ticket of di All Progressives Congress (APC), as im first-term mandate go end for October.
