Tonight will see lengthy clear spells and a few patches of cloud at first. Later on, it will turn windy and overcast with outbreaks of rain moving in from the west. Rain reaching Shetland by dawn.

Windy tomorrow. Overnight rain on the mainland soon clearing, leaving areas of thick cloud, occasional sunshine and the odd light shower. Spells of rain to start on the Isles, dry and brighter later.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Sunday will be largely dry for all with variable cloud and sunny breaks. After a dry start, Monday looks to become overcast with spells of rain redeveloping from the west. Staying drier with some brightness in the east of the mainland. Breezy with sunny spells and blustery showers on Tuesday.
