Tonight

Tonight, the mainland will be partly cloudy with some clear spells and showers moving in, especially into western areas. The Isles will see further spells of rain and showers.

Wednesday

Tomorrow will see outbreaks of heavy rain with a risk of thunder on the mainland and the Isles. Southern areas of the mainland may see some drier periods though.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday

Thursday will be a more settled day with a ridge of high pressure moving in. It will be partly cloudy with the odd spot of rain on the mainland and some sunny spells. Friday could be partly cloudy, with some showers moving in at times. Saturday will see outbreaks of heavy rain moving in from the west as winds increase.
