This afternoon, the Isles will be cloudy and largely dry with occasional brighter spells. The mainland will see sunny spells, but there will be cloud across the north.

Tonight, it will be mostly dry with clear spells and areas of cloud. During the second part of the night, the odd shower is possible on the Isles.
Tuesday
Tomorrow, cloud will linger in parts of the eastern mainland, while it will be sunny elsewhere. The Isles will see sunny spells and some patchy cloud. A dry day for all.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
Wednesday will be dry, but there will be more cloud around, particularly on the mainland and during the morning. Thursday is expected to start dry with sunny spells, however, spells of showery rain may move into the mainland by the evening. Friday looks to see any lingering showers soon clear. Cloudy and dry for a time but sunshine developing from the south later on.
